This course offers an introduction to all the disciplines of international business, such as international management, finance, marketing, accounting, business operations, law and more.  

Through this course, students will learn about the necessary vision and tools for managing challenges presented by globalization, changing world markets, and cultural differences. The course will explore the world of international business and management and equip students with the skills to effectively manage the challenges that arise in this field.  

The course covers industries, competitors, regions, and markets from the perspective of practicing managers and explains the “whats” and “whys” of global differences. Additionally, it provides an overview of the different areas of international business and their contributions to the foundation of global business and management.

METHODOLOGY

In class, we will learn about International Business and Management through a combination of lectures and practical examples. We will focus on both technical and human factors to understand how culture can impact business. The professor will upload lecture notes and other additional materials on the course website at least one day prior to the scheduled lecture.
