Intercultural communication (45 h)

In today’s increasingly globalized world, having intercultural communication skills can be a valuable asset in both personal and corporate environments. The purpose of this course is to equip our students with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively communicate in multicultural settings and overcome any challenges that may arise. By the end of the course, students will have developed the ability to communicate effectively in a variety of cultural contexts.

METHODOLOGY

In each session, the topic will be presented in lecture format. Students will have the opportunity to share their own experiences related to the topic. The classes will also have practical cases of intercultural communication in real-life situations. Students will be provided with PowerPoint presentations on each topic that will include main concepts, examples, explanations, and suggested readings. It is important to attend all sessions to successfully follow the subject.

ASSESSMENT

Mid-term exam: 35%  

Class activities: 20%  

Participation in class: 10%  

Final exam: 35%
